Wedding Weekend

Last weekend went by so fast! I finally got to see Ryan for the first time in about 6 weeks and his brother & soon to be sister-in-law’s wedding weekend was finally here! Friday started with yoga & massages for the girls and golf for the guys. Then straight into the rehearsal dinner followed by lots of wine!

This wedding was a dream. Everyone was filled with so much excitement and the venue (Crystal Springs Resort) was beautifully decorated. Everything from the ceremony to the reception was perfect.

Dress | Heels | Clutch

I was so excited when I found this dress on Revolve's website. I searched for months and couldn't find anything I liked until I came across this Lovers + Friends dress. It's extremely lightweight, the fabric is stretchy & flattering and the rose gold color makes this dress different from any others that I've seen. The metallic threaded fabric adds just enough to this dress to make it perfect for your next black tie event. I ordered an XS and it fit perfectly with few alterations done to the bottom (i'm 5'7 and my heels weren't high enough for the dress not to drag). If you're worried about being washed out by the color, it also comes in black! 

Since Ryan was in a navy blue tux, I decided to use navy blue accessories to match him. My velvet clutch and shoes are from DSW and were very affordable. I wore my heels all night without having to take them off, they were so comfortable! I also think they would look really cute with a pair of jeans and a cute top! The velvet cross body I purchased was perfect to wear to a wedding and is versatile enough to wear on a night out. It comes in 5 different colors for just $20, here!

My favorite everyday lip color: Laura Mercier - Devotion

This outfit was so easy to put together and perfect for the in-between fall weather we're having! The soft velvet material keeps you warm during those chilly fall mornings and the off the shoulder style keeps you cool when the day starts to warm up. This top also comes in a really pretty blush color. 

The mules i'm wearing were only $15 on the clearance rack at DSW (with a $10 off coupon as well) and i'm so glad I purchased them! They are comfortable and so easy to slip on with you're favorite pair of jeans making your weekend outfits even easier. I suggest going to the store to purchase them since DSW's website still has them marked as $39. 

Believe it or not I buy all of my jeans at Abercrombie, they are so comfortable and soft, plus they are the only jeans that fit me! Right now all of their jeans are on sale for $31-$40. I suggest buying a few for the fall/winter now!

Fall Festivities

Last week we got a little taste of autumn weather with the temperature dipping down into the mid 60's (that's cold for me) which means fall is definitely on it's way! As much as I love the warm weather I'm looking forward to this upcoming fall season. 

This time of year is my favorite because of the mild weather and endless things to do! I have a few things planned for the upcoming months that i'm so excited about, football games, wine tasting, pumpkin patch dates, and a few weekend trips! What are your favorite activities to do this season?

Off The Shoulder Top | Peep Toe Booties | Similar Bag

I can't believe it's already September, before we know it we will be packing up our shorts and taking out our favorite sweaters. This off the shoulder top is the perfect transitional piece to wear this fall season. It's light enough to wear under layers or by it's self when the weather is still a little warm. Plus, it's on sale right now for $22! I also paired my favorite booties with this outfit, they're easy to slip on with jeans or a dress, extremely soft, true to size and so comfortable! I bought these last season but was able to find them for just $29!
